Today would have been my in-laws 60th Wedding Anniversary. You may remember that my FIL went home to be with his Lord & Saviour in January. He was so looking forward to this day and really wanted to ‘make it’ until June, but the Lord had other plans for him.
I knew that today would be a very emotional day for my MIL and I made this card for her.
I actually bought this set just for this stamp, just for this occassion, but I love all of the stamps in this set. The stamp set is called “Lean on Me” and it just retired. I hope that you actually had the chance to purchase it. This sentiment is just perfect for the occasion when you want to be there for someone at a time when there are no words.
Mom’s favorite color is purple and I figured that since was using a retired stamp set, it was a good to use some other retired products (the DSP) but I did throw in a newbie too – the Mosaic Madness TEF for the background.
If you have this stamp set, please leave me a comment and let me know which stamp is your favorite. I love to hear from you.
Thanks & Happy Stampin’
Nancy
