Today was the first day that I was back in My Stampin’ Space since Jenn passed away. Even though a new box of goodies arrived about 2 weeks ago, I just seemed to have lost my desire to stamp, to create, to do much of anything. But I knew I needed to get back to a normal routine again, and that meant getting a class schedule posted, check, and getting my projects for those classes. Today was the day to make those projects!
Since I really felt blah, with no particular plan in mind, other than to use my new Color Your Season bundle that just came in, I thought the best place to start would be with a Paper Pumpkin kit. My July kit came in the mail and was just sitting there unopened. So I opened it up, and made those cute little baskets and the coordinating tags & cards. I have to say that the kit was the best place to start! I didn’t need to ‘create’ anything! I just needed to follow the included directions and I was able to make some really cute gifts that are headed for my co-workers. Paper Pumpkin to the rescue! Take a look at this:
See, I told you! They are really cute aren’t they? Totally what I needed to get me back into the crafting groove again.
