New Stampin’ Up! 2024-25 Annual Catalog!

May 1st, a new day, a new month, and a new Catalog from Stampin’ Up! Today is the first day you can begin shopping from the new catalog, and it’s the first day I can post the catalog PDF for your enjoyment! So without further ado, here it is:

Stampin Up 2024-25 Annual Catalog Cover Image

Usually, when I post a new catalog I highlight some of the new products that I want you to see, but I’m not going to do that today. Rather I want to tell you about the newly refreshed and updated format. There has been a lot of buzz about the new layout; the catalog is now divided into 3 major sections; and each section is geared towards the way that you craft, and therefore, that way that you shop! Check out the Table of Contents on pages 2-3.

There are a few crafting resources scattered throughout the catalog that I can’t wait to tell you about.

Pages 16-17: a top 10 list of essential supplies. Many of my readers will remember the top essential supply list I gave to my new students. I’m so happy about this updated list!

Pages 22-23: A ‘how-to” design a card, Card layout templates, and creative color combo’s – a great way to get your creative juices flowing when you are feeling stuck.

Pages 132-133: This has got to be my favorite update to the new catalog; the addition of a Color Wheel! You know that I just love color, especially our colors and our color coordination. This Color Wheel has all of the current Stampin’ Up! colors (excluding the 4 basic colors). Some great color combo’s and a brief intro to Color Theory is included here.

Of course, a new Annual Catalog also includes a new set of 5 InColors! Let’s take a quick look at the new 2024-26 In Colors, shall we?

2024-26 InColors

Every year Stampin’ Up introduces 5 new, trendy colors that will stay with us for 2 years. These color retire at the end of their 2-year life cycle to make way for another set of trendy, fashionable colors. We have a total of 10 InColors at any time bringing our total color palette to 54 colors (10 colors in each of our 5 color families: Subtles, Brights, Regals, Neutrals and InColors) plus 4 Basic Colors.

Yes, I did say 4 Basic Colors! In addition to Basic White, Basic Black, Very Vanilla we now have Basic Beige. This color fills in a missing color hole in our core offering.

Ok, so I know what you are thinking. You want, no you need, all of these new InColors. Well if you’ve ever thought about becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, you’ll want to join between May1-31.

2024 Join Promotion May1-31

Exciting News! Between 1–31 May, anyone who becomes a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator will receive four 2024–2026 In Color products in their Starter Kit for FREE!

That’s right!  New demonstrators will receive the following products in their Starter Kit at no additional cost:

Thanks!

Trusty Tools Trifecta! Trusty Tools Stamps, Dies & DSP

Did you know that many of the tools on this DSP can be cropped out with the dies?

Now I want to show you the card I made with this bundle.

Trusty Tools Awesome Hammer

My husband recently added some shelves in a closet for me. He used his drill, screwdriver and of course his tape measure. He also used his hammer to drive in a few nails to hang things on. This card was made to thank him, and I used the tape measure stamp, the screwdriver pattern of the DSP, and the dies to create the hammer. His hammer has a black handle, a red neck and a metal head. I was able to re-create his hammer out of paper. How cool, right?

I will probably get a lot of use out of this bundle. I’ll be sure to share any other cards I make with you. Follow me on Facebook and Pinterest to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Please be sure to share any pictures of projects you make using this bundle! I love to see what you make.

If you want to order this bundle, or anything else, just click here to access my online store. Thanks for your support!

Mad for Plaid

I just love plaid, especially buffalo check plaid, so it’s fair to say that I am Mad for Plaid! I was so excited when I saw this cute little 1/4″ Black & White Gingham ribbon in the Holiday Mini Catalog!

BLACK & WHITE 1/4" (6.4 MM) GINGHAM RIBBON

Even more exciting is that the one of the patterns of paper in the Peaceful Prints DSP (available for FREE during SaleABration with a qualifying $50 order) has these adorable tiny Christmas Trees in a green and Black Buffalo Check. I just knew I had to combine this paper and ribbon!

Don’t you just love this? Doesn’t it make you Mad for Plaid also? So quick and easy, but oh so cute!

How it’s made

I started with a piece of Basic Black card stock cut to 5-1/2″ x 6 and folded it in half to make a 5-1/2″ x 3″ card base. Then I added a piece of this cute DSP from the Peaceful Prints which was mounted onto a Garden Green layer. I wrapped a piece of the B&W 1/4″ Gingham ribbon around that panel and tied it in a bow, before adhering it to the card base. I stamped the sentiment in Momento Black ink onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock and fussy cut with my Paper Snips before popping it up on mini Dimensionals.

Here’s another card I made with 2 little variations:

Looks almost the same, but this time I kept the whole sentiment rather than just cropping out part of it. And I tied the ribbon in a knot, rather than a bow. Then I tied on another scrap of ribbon to give more of a rustic look.

Which card do you like best? Leave me a comment below.

The Products

The Peaceful Prints DSP has so many pretty patterns: let’s take a look:

PEACEFUL PRINTS 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER
2 each of 6 double-sied 12″x12″ designer series paper in Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Real Red & Sahara Sand.

You can easily recreate this card yourself – and earning the Free Peaceful Prints DSP is easy! Here’s how:

  • Christmas to Remember Stamp Set #156300 – $22.00
  • Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon # 156485 2@ $7.00 – $14.00
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad # 132708 – $6.00
  • Basic Black 8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock # 121045 – $8.75
    • Total $50.75 – you just earned 1 Free Sale-A-Bration item!

You can shop my online store, safely & securely 24-7, when you click on this link. And thanks for shopping with me!

Last Christmas, I made a really cute Gift Card Holder using the Buffalo Check and a Moose! You can check out that post here. I guess I really have been Mad for Plaid for quite some time!

Some Hi-Lights from the 2021 January – June Catalog

If you are an active customer of mine, the new catalogs are on their way to you. Catalogs were mailed out on Dec. 9th and shipped via Bulk Mail but due to the delays the USPS is experiencing, I know many of you have not received your catalogs yet. But the 2021 Catalogs are here and you can view them online here on my blog until the mailman delivers yours to you.

Let me know what your favorite product/suite is from the 2021 January-June catalog!

Did you watch me make this?

At the beginning of the month, I attended the Stampin’ UP! event “OnStage@Home”. Twice a year, I’ve been attending this conference at different cities around the Eastern part of the country, gathering with several hundred, or thousand, Stampin’ UP Demonstrators. But this year, OnStage was a Covid edition – at home! But I wasn’t going to let that stop me from gathering with a few of my closest demonstrator friends!

I hosted OnStage@Home at MyStampinSpace Studio where I have a large screen and projector so we were able to watch the virtual event on a big screen. We had swaps, makes & takes, games and prizes! Here are a few photos from that event:

One of the things I did after that event was to make a renewed commitment to making videos and doing Facebook Lives on a regular basis. If you follow my Facebook page, you’ll see that I’m now doing a Facebook Live on Wednesday nights at 7pm (EST). This past week, I shared some sneak peeks from the Jan-June 2021 and 2021 SaleABration catalogs. You can watch that video here.

I used some of the new products to make this card:

Painted Texture Art Gallery in Bermuda Bay

If you were watching me on FB Live, then you made this card with along with me. The background Paper is Oh So Ombre in Bermuda Bay and that great texture on the background is from a new Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. The flower and sentiment are from Art Gallery and the dies to cut it out are from Floral Gallery dies.

I made this card in Blackberry Bliss as well. Would you like to see that? Oh, just kidding, I already know the answer! Of course you would, so here it is:

Art Gallery Blackberry Bliss

Did you notice that gorgeous Painted Texture embossed background? Let’s take a close-up look:

Painted Texture 3D Embossing

So now that you’ve seen both, which color do you like better, Blackberry Bliss or Bermuda Bay? Let’s take a side by side look to compare, then leave me a comment with your preferece.

GET YOUR NEW CATALOGS!

If you are a regular customer of mine (meaning you have placed an order with me in the past 12 months) then I’ll be sending you a set of the new catalogs which should arrive to you around mid-December. If you aren’t, well let’s change that!

Online Extravaganza – Nov 24th only

1-Day only – November 24th

Anytime is a great time to place an order with me, but Nov 24th will be an even better time to place an order! Why? Because November 24th is our 1-Day Sale where you can get 10% off (almost) everything Stampin’ Up! has to offer!

Click Here to shop my online store. When you are shopping with me, please use Host Code KDW32Q9P. If you order is greater than $150 (before tax and shipping), then do not use the host code, but rather use those rewards for yourself.

Thanks friends, and watch me on Facebook Live on Wednesday evenings!

Thank you for joining us for the June Pals Blog Hop and our kickoff to the new catalog! Are you ready to see wonderful creations featuring new products from the 2013-14 Stampin’ Up! catalog? Get ready to update your wishlist!

You should have just left stop number 24 on the Pals Hop – Peggy Noe at Prettypapercards.com. If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

June Pals Blog Hop

My project features a new stamp set and 3 of the new In-Colors.  The stamp set, Simply Sketched, is a hostess set and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it!  I chose to use the “With Heartfelt Sympathy” sentiment because of my need for a sympathy card, but the card would work equally as well with either of the 3 sentiments in the set.

While we talking about love at first sight, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new 2013-2015 In-Colors.  Many times I have to ‘warm up’ to new colors but not this year.  I actually got to see the new colors before they were released when I attended a Stampin’ Up! Regional Conference in April.  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these new colors and start creating.  I chose to use Baked Brown Sugar for my base layer; I embossed half of this layer with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe blend perfectly to create a soft color palette.  I created the flags using the background stamp from “Oh Hello” and the 1″ square punch.  I scored the Crisp Cantaloupe flag using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to create some texture and dimension.

If you want to order any items from the new 2013-14 Catalog, click here or click directly on any of the underlined items above.  The stamp set can only be purchased with Reward Dollars which can be earned with a minimum order of $150 before tax & shipping.  Reward Dollars can be earned by hosting a home party or by placing an order with me.

The next stop is Penny Nichols at Sierra Stampin!, stop number 1 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting – and I hope to see you next month!

Clearly New Stamps Are Here!

Photopolymer Stamps are here!

What is photopolymer you ask?  Watch this video and find out!

We’ve searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we’ve found it. We’re excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let’s just say they’re meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

What makes them so great?

  • They’re entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don’t worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They’re age tested. They won’t yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
  • We could go on, but we’ll let you try them for yourself.

They are clearly a great choice.
