Just under the wire, again!

I have played along with the Paper Players challenge for the past 3 weeks and although I had a full schedule this week with classes and getting ready for my World Card Making Event, I just had to carve out a few minutes to create a card to play along with the Paper Players TicTacToe challenge this week.

Thanks to the beautiful patterns in the Come to Gather DSP, I was able to crank out a card in just a few minutes! A few coordinating die cut leaves from the Gathered Leaves dies and I was almost finished! Easy – peasy!

A TicTacToe challenge is fun because you pick any three elements from a grid of nine in any winning Bingo pattern. I actually scored Bingo in a X pattern, using 5 elements, thanks to this lovely paper!

And here is my card:

Come to Gather for the Paper Players

So my card includes Fall, Die Cut, Pumpkins, Patterned Paper and Leaves! Sounds like a lot of elements but yet it is still a simple, uncluttered card. The leaves were cropped in Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzaz card stock using the Gathered Leaves dies and a simple sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set.

BTW, what’s the single most important foundation to any paper crafting project? Okay, besides paper! Yes, you’re right, a paper cutter! And if you have been lamenting the loss of the Stampin’ Up! paper trimmer and replacement blades, you’ll be glad to know that Stampin’ Up! has announced a new re-designed Paper Trimmer that is now available! I ordered mine on October 1st, first thing in the morning. I even ordered mine BEFORE I made coffee – and I don’t do anything before coffee, except to stumble out of bed and stagger to the kitchen! My Kuerig is set on a timer so it is on and ready to brew when my feet hit the floor.

Anyway the new Paper Trimmer, and replacement blades, are available to demonstrators only from October 1-31st. And this includes ordering the Paper Trimmer as part of a Starter Kit for new demonstrators. So, my question to you is: Have you ever thought about joining Stampin’ UP! and becoming a demonstrator? Folks join Stampin’ UP! for many reasons; to build a business, to earn extra income to fund their own hobby, or simply to purchase their own supplies at discount, or to find a place to belong with other stampers. What is your reason? What would you like to get out of a relationship with Stampin’ UP? Think about that, and then let me know if you are interested in pursuing what joining Stampin’ UP! can do for YOU!

Ready to jump in? Click here to purchase your Starter Kit and add the new Paper Trimmer to your order. I’d be happy to help you take the next step!
